Are you a Temporary Accommodation Procurement Officer looking for work in North London?

Morgan Hunt’s Public Sector and Government client based in North London, is looking to recruit a Temporary Accommodation Procurement Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Temporary Accommodation Procurement Officer, You will also negotiate the best financial deals to secure a sustainable and cost-effective supply of properties, ensuring that we meet the needs of individuals and families requiring temporary housing solutions.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Expand and diversify the current portfolio of temporary accommodation by sourcing and securing new properties across the private rental sector and other available markets.
• Negotiate favorable financial terms and deals for new property acquisitions, ensuring value for money while maintaining high-quality accommodation standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, agents, and property owners to increase the supply of available temporary housing.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying potential properties and conducting viewings to negotiating contracts and onboarding properties into the portfolio.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure all properties meet the required legal, safety, and housing standards.
• Provide regular updates and reports on procurement activity, including financial performance, portfolio expansion progress, and market trends.
• Ensure compliance with housing regulations, local authority policies, and procurement guidelines.
• Contribute to strategic planning aimed at improving the availability and quality of temporary accommodation and reducing reliance on costly Bed and Breakfast arrangements.
