Team Leader Needed!

Location: Hertfordshire

Social Care Assignment: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 Hours a week

Pay: £32,284 Per Annum

What We Need and Duties:

In this position, you will lead a team that provides essential support, guidance, and assistance to individuals who have experienced homelessness. Your goal will be to help them secure and sustain safe, stable housing. To achieve this, your duties will include:

• Maintaining and enhancing a homely atmosphere.
• Coordinating individual support, planning, and key working to:
• Identify and address each resident’s unique needs.
• Assist residents in developing everyday living skills.
• Encourage active participation in managing their home.
• Help residents set and achieve personal goals.
• Empower residents to make their own decisions.
• Facilitate access to community resources.
• Support residents in maintaining connections with family and friends.

We are seeking candidates who possess:

• Prior supervisory experience and a background in team management
• A comprehensive understanding of the varied and complex challenges faced by homeless individuals
• Thorough knowledge of laws and regulations related to homelessness, housing, and the Equalities Act
• Proven experience working within services that support homeless populations
