  • Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Term-time only
  • Grade: NJC Teachers Pay scale – T1 to T9
  • NJC Unqualified Teacher Payscale UNQ1 – UNQ4

 

We have an exciting vacancy for a permanent full-time Teacher of Maths within our Maths (A Level and GCSE) within our Maths, Engineering and Construction Team.

You will teach on a variety of A Level & GCSE Maths courses.. The ability to teach on A Level Maths/Further Maths is essential.

The highly successful Maths team has a strong teamwork ethic and prides itself to be at the forefront of pedagogy and course development. All classes are shared between two teachers.

In Engineering and Construction, we currently deliver the T level in Construction and are planning for the T level in Engineering. This team has a strong teamwork ethic too and is moving towards a holistic delivery across units for BTEC.

Across Maths, Engineering and Construction we currently offer:

  • GCSE Maths
  • A level Maths
  • A level Further Maths
  • Certificate in Mathematical studies
  • A level Statistics
  • BTEC level 3 mechanical and electrical engineering
  • T level Construction Design Surveying and Planning
  • Transition to T level Construction

You will work well with 16-19 year olds and contribute to a student-centred environment both inside and outside of the classroom. As a teacher, you will be innovative and reflective, with a genuine interest in young people and how they learn, and committed to supporting students in achieving success.
