Salary: £65,121 per annum

Job Type: Permanent

Hours Per Week: Full Time

Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working (3 days working on-site with some flexibility)

Role Overview:

As the Sustainability & Procurement Reporting Manager, you will create and implement a comprehensive data strategy to support all procurement, commercial, sustainability, and supplier relationship data requirements. You will leverage various data sources to provide insights that drive commercial decisions, regulatory compliance, and support category management and sustainability strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a data strategy to support procurement, sustainability, and supplier relationship management.
  • Manage relationships with external sustainability, contract, and supplier management platforms.
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to minimise duplication and maximise best-practice sharing.
  • Develop new reports and dashboards focusing on the New Procurement Act 2024 and the Sustainability Action Plan.
  • Manage a reporting calendar to ensure timely and accurate reporting that meets stakeholder requirements.
  • Improve data integrity and sources, ensuring robust and actionable insights.
  • Engage with the Procurement Leadership Team and senior leaders to support decision-making and coordinate data development strategies.
  • Communicate the data strategy through various media tools to senior leadership.
  • Report on the progress of the data strategy in monthly Procurement Performance Review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Research and benchmark reporting capabilities, seeking improvements and new methods for data management and analysis.
  • Lead reporting activities for contract expiry, renewal processes, social value, and sustainability commitments.

Person Specification:

  • Degree level qualification with knowledge and/or interest in Procurement and Sustainability.
  • Analytical and reporting skills with experience in data analysis and manipulation in a regulated and/or commercial environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Commercial attitude with strategic thinking and horizon scanning capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and engage successfully with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining dashboards in PowerBi and understanding Oracle systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in transforming data and presenting insights for commercial decision-making.
  • Knowledge of procurement, strategic sourcing methodologies, change management, and supply chain theory.
