Senior HR Officer, 6 month FTC – Leading London University – c£43,000

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with a experience of developing HR practices around recruitment and operations.

Reporting into the Deputy HR Director you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of the management of fractional staff recruitment and contract variation to HR. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Taking ownership for the delivery and administration of all aspects of the recruitment process with a focus on customer experience
  • Ensuring systems are in place for implementing employee variations of contract and other changes across the employee lifecycle
  • Implementing processes and procedures such as UKVI compliance and employment related legislation
  • Assisting recruiting managers, planning recruitment exercises and producing recruitment timelines
  • Preparing and issuing employment-related documentation for newly recruited members of staff
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all new fractional based starters

You should be an experienced HR professional with a track record of developing HR and recruitment processes ideally in the Higher Education sector. Experience of managing high volume recruitment campaigns and of providing advice to managers needs to be combined with a good understanding of recruitment legislation. You need experience of UKVI compliance processes is essential.
