Senior HR Administrator

Salary: £24,024 – £26,352 p.a.
Location: Birmingham

Role Senior HR Administrator

The Senior HR Administrator will deliver expert first-line HR administrative support across the College, managing personnel records, participating in recruitment processes, addressing employee queries, and ensuring strict adherence to HR policies and procedures.

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic records.
  • Liaise with staff via email and phone regarding various employment-related matters.
  • Administer the recruitment process, including advertising jobs, liaising with candidates, and recruiting managers, producing recruitment documentation, issuing contracts of employment, and completing pre-employment checks.
  • Maintain electronic process tracking systems to ensure ongoing information accuracy.
  • Administer HR processes with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for HR function enhancement and actively participate in their implementation.
  • Serve as the initial point of escalation for more complex HR queries.
  • Provide analysis and reports as required.

Skills and Experience Senior HR Administrator

  • Qualified to CIPD Level 3 or above
  • Demonstrated experience in an HR Administrator or similar role, with a focus on advanced administrative functions.
  • Profound knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, and MS Office Suite.
  • Background checks and an enhanced DBS will be required for the successful applicant.
