SEND & Exam Access Arrangements Assessor
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: £31,264 – £32,199 per annum
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Holidays: 25-29 days annual leave plus bank holidays

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate SEND professional to join a dedicated Additional Learning Support team as a SEND & Exam Access Arrangements Assessor.
This key role involves working collaboratively with learners, families, schools, internal staff and external agencies to assess, identify and implement tailored support strategies for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. The post holder will be responsible for conducting specialist exam access arrangement assessments in line with current JCQ regulations, including administering WRAT tests and completing the associated reports.
The successful candidate will also be integral in screening Additional Learning Support (ALS) disclosures, planning support based on EHCPs, and supporting learners throughout their study programmes to maximise achievement and progression. This includes providing ongoing support and workshops for learners to build skills, confidence, and independence in line with their ALS plans.
