Position Details:

Job Title: Physics Lecturer

Location: Bedfordshire

Hours: Part-time

Start Date: TBC (pending interview)

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £32 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Physics that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles
• Teach and demonstrate key concepts and practical skills in Physics, ensuring students understand both theoretical and applied aspects of the subject
• Provide mentorship, support, and constructive feedback to students, fostering their academic growth and enthusiasm for science
• Stay informed about the latest advancements, research, and teaching strategies in Physics to enhance learning experiences

Requirements:

• Proven experience in teaching Physics, with strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in the field
• Previous experience as a Lecturer or similar teaching role, preferably within a college setting
• Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths and English
• Certification in teaching or a related field (preferred but not essential)
• A valid DBS check registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one
