Position Details:

Job Title: Biology Lecturer

Location: Bedfordshire

Hours: Part-time

Start Date: TBC (pending interview)

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £32 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Biology that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles

· Teach and demonstrate key concepts and practical skills in Biology, ensuring students understand both theoretical and applied aspects of the subject

· Provide mentorship, support, and constructive feedback to students, fostering their academic growth and enthusiasm for science

· Stay informed about the latest advancements, research, and teaching strategies in Biology to enhance learning experiences

Requirements:

· Proven experience in teaching Biology with strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in the field

· Previous experience as a Lecturer or similar teaching role, preferably within a college setting

· Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths, Science and English

· Certification in teaching or a related field (preferred but not essential)

· A valid DBS check registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one
