Senior Parliamentary and Public Affairs Officer

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a regulator who are seeks a Senior Parliamentary and Public Affairs Officer to join their newly established Public Affairs function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping their political engagement strategy and enhancing their reputation.

Contract: 6 Months FTC
Salary: £50,000 per annum (pro rata)
Location: Canary Wharf (Hybrid 40% on site)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement public affairs strategies
• Manage parliamentary activities and stakeholder engagements
• Provide expert advice on political engagement to leadership
• Prepare high-quality briefings and communications materials
• Monitor political developments and identify influencing opportunities

• Expertise in parliamentary procedures and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in delivering parliamentary and stakeholder programs
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Innovative approach to communications
