Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and highly organised Programme Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multiple academic and/or professional programmes, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget expectations. This role requires excellent leadership, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate across various teams to ensure the smooth execution of programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of academic and professional programmes, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget
  • Work closely with academic teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery and the highest quality standards
  • Develop and implement programme schedules, resource plans, and project timelines
  • Monitor programme progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Ensure that all programme documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are maintained
  • Conduct regular reviews of programme outcomes, recommending improvements for future delivery
  • Manage programme budgets and resources, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide leadership and support to programme teams, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication
  • Contribute to the development of new programmes and initiatives, aligning with institutional goals and priorities

Key Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in programme or project management, preferably within an educational or similar sector
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to solve problems proactively and think strategically
  • Experience managing budgets, resources, and teams effectively
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to drive change in a complex environment

Desirable Skills

  • Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP)
  • Experience with academic programme delivery or educational project management
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning tools
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and compliance processes
