Job Advert: Lecturer – Chef & Professional Cookery

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lecturer in Chef & Professional Cookery to join our team in Hayes. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of £25 to £40.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in professional cookery.
• Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements.
• Provide support and guidance to students, helping them develop culinary skills and industry knowledge.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  Requirements:

• Proven experience in teaching professional cookery, ideally within a college or similar educational setting.
• A recognised teaching qualification is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge with practical experience in a professional kitchen.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to pass a DBS check upon request.
