About the Role:

Morgan Hunt are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement & Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a finance team in a College on a temporary basis. In this role, you will support the procurement process, manage purchase orders, and assist with purchase ledger maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement process, including obtaining quotes and liaising with suppliers.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure accurate data entry into the ledger system.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support the finance team with invoice processing and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in procurement or purchase ledger roles is preferred.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
