Morgan Hunt is proud to be partnering with a renowned Housing Association, seeking 3 experienced and dynamic Procurement Managers to lead complex procurement projects that deliver substantial value to the organisation and to be committed to excellence in procurement and value-driven management of goods, services and works across the Group.

Job Title: Procurement Manager x3
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
Hours Per Week: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office, with the remaining time working remotely)
Location: South East London

Role Overview:

As a Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our category management approach across the Group, ensuring the efficient procurement of goods, services, and works. You will provide critical procurement and commercial expertise, leveraging your market knowledge to achieve value for money. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a reputable organisation by driving value through strategic procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of category and procurement strategies across the Group.
  • Provide expert advice on internal Procurement Policy, Procedures, and Public Contracts Regulations.
  • Manage complex procurement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget using structured methodologies like PRINCE2.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build meaningful relationships across the business.
  • Support the achievement of value-driven procurement outcomes by leveraging your in-depth market knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, professional guidelines, and legislation.
  • Champion the Group’s procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified with CIPS Level 5 or other relevant qualifications.
  • Experience in a large, complex organisation with expert knowledge in procurement.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading a range of public procurement procedures.
  • Strong understanding of policies, procedures, professional guidelines, and legislation.
  • Proven track record of delivering procurement projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the business.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a commitment to supporting customers and achieving value-driven outcomes.
