About the accountancy firm
Pentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with a friendly mid-tier accountancy firm in the City of London to recruit for an Accounts Semi-Senior/Trainee Accountant. You will be joining an expanding business who specialise in providing accounting, audit, taxation and business advisory services to individuals and limited companies predominantly within the music, entertainment and sports industries.

Duties and responsibilities
As a Trainee Accountant you will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for clients.
• Assisting in the preparation of corporation tax returns and submitting to HMRC.
• Assisting in the preparation of self-assessment tax returns.
• Assisting in the audit of financial statements.
• Liaising with clients on a regular basis and maintaining professional relationships.

Qualifications and skills required
In order succeed as a Trainee Accountant you will:

• Be studying your AAT/ACCA/ACA.
• Have experience preparing statutory accounts, vat returns and tax returns.
• Have good data entry and bookkeeping skills.
• Have excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ideally have knowledge of CCH (desirable)
