The organisation

In this Night Concierge opportunity in Birmingham, you will join a charity helping vulnerable young people and adults gain access to temporary accommodation as a result of being homeless The role will be monitoring the site during the night, logging any incidents that occur and be an approachable member of staff for people to turn to advice for.

Key responsibilities

In this Night Concierge job, your responsibilities will include:

• Meet and greet residents that come In and out of the service.
• Assist residents and visitors when required / helping with deliveries / arranging accordingly.
• Keeping accurate records of any Incidents over the shift – ready to hand over to daytime staff on shift rotation.
• Managing the CCTV throughout shift – routine health and safety checks / taking appropriate action when required.
• Helping residents with any queries they have – keeping them on track of their support plans.
• Communicate with leaseholders and managing agents in an attentive and personable manner.
• Perform weekly fire alarm, lift alarm and other regulatory tests and inspections, and report any issues to the Property Manager as well as log/file records for inspection purposes.

Skills & experience

• Proven track record of working In a night concierge role or similar
• Holds an enhanced DBS child and adult cleared – Issued In the last 12 months or on the update service
• Available to start asap
• Flexible to work on shift cover basis – 4 nights on 4 nights off
