The Ideal Motor vehicle technician will responsible for:

  • Support students in the completion of their practical work under the direction of members of the teaching staff and be committed to promoting the college’s commitment to best practice in equality
  • Being a mentor to the students, giving the students an insight into the automotive industry
  • To maintain the automotive workshops and associated equipment and provide support to students and staff
  • Responsibilities for stock control and monitoring

The Ideal Motor vehicle technician will need:

  • Industry experience
  • Level 2 engineering qualification – minimum
  • Be available 5 days a week
  • Have the ability to engage different learners through a range of teaching resources
