We currently have an opportunity with one of the industries most renowned, premium multidisciplinary engineering consultancies as they look to grow their Mechanical Design (Building Services) team. They are open to various levels including experienced Grad, Engineer or Senior. This business are engaged in a number of exciting medium-large scale developments across sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Residential, Leisure and more. Role

• Ensuring an understanding of project briefs. Design and specification of all Mechanical Building Services systems.
• Preparation and review of documentation eg designs, specifications, assessment reports, survey reports.
• Carry out (managing of others) in the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools including Excel, CAD, IES, in house developed tools tec,
• Site surveys, inspections and monitoring of site works
• Implementation of detailed surveys of mechanical services and equipment to establish status of the existing installations and gain sufficient information to recommend new/upgrade design proposal
• Assisting with the development of junior engineers
• Report and technical note writing

Qualifications/Experience

• Post graduate work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
• Ideally have a full UK driving licence, to enable travel to sites as and when required, either as part of wider design team, or individually
• Experienced in the use of AutoCAD, Revit is ideal
• Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Use knowledge of mechanical systems to carry out mechanical building services design
