Job Overview

We are looking for lecturers who can:

  • To deliver Maths qualifications to 16-19 year old learners alongside their vocational studies. In addition to delivering to 19+ adult learners who wish to improve their mathematical skills and gain recognised qualifications. Students will study across a range of courses which include; Functional Skills Entry, Level 1, Level 2 as well as GCSE
  • Follow the curriculum and lesson plans provided, ensuring continuity in the learning process.
  • Adapt quickly to new classrooms and students, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive educational community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lesson Delivery: Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire students and enhance their understanding and enjoyment of the subject.
  • Curriculum Adherence: Follow provided curriculum and lesson plans to ensure a consistent learning experience for all students.
  • Classroom Management: Adapt to different classroom settings and student groups, maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere.
  • Student Assessment: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to aid their academic development.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to support a positive and unified educational environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in delivering lessons up to GCSE level is essential.
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum A Level / Level 3 qualification in the subject you wish to teach.
    • A Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to undertake one within the next 12 months.
  • DBS Check: A DBS check on the update service is required.
  • Personal Attributes: A patient and kind person who can inspire and guide our learners to progress in their subjects.
