Management Accountant – Glasgow

Morgan Hunt Finance & Accountancy Recruitment are seeking a talented and analytical Management Accountant to join our dynamic architecture and interior design firm based in Glasgow. The Role

As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and support to the business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing financial reporting and analysis
• Managing the budgeting and forecasting process
• Strategic planning and providing statutory reporting information
• Providing financial advice and support to the management team
• Overseeing financial systems and controls
• Managing the month-end and year-end closing process
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a qualified accountant with a strong analytical mind and a passion for numbers. You should be able to translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights.

Key requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and logical decision making with a hands-on approach
• Proven experience in financial control and management reporting
• Previous experience of commercial procurement and purchasing would be preferred
• Proficiency in Xero financial accounting software would be advantageous
