📢 Exciting Opportunity – Library Assistant (Term-Time Only) 📢

Morgan Hunt is thrilled to be working with a fantastic college in the Bedfordshire area! Together, we’re on the lookout for a dedicated, friendly, and highly motivated Library Assistant to support student learning and help maintain an engaging and well-organised library environment. If you have a passion for education and enjoy working with students, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

📖 The Role:

🖊️ Job Title – Library Assistant

📍 Location – Bedfordshire

⏳ Hours – Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 3 PM (Term-Time Only)

📅 Contract Length – Temporary

💰 Pay Rate – £12 – £14 per hour (depending on experience)

📚 What You’ll Be Doing:

✔️ Providing excellent customer service at the library desk.

✔️ Assisting students in finding resources and supporting their study skills.

✔️ Maintaining the administration of the library.

✔️ Keeping the library area clean, tidy, and safe.

✔️ Assisting with Study Skills sessions and one-to-one support.

✔️ Promoting and maintaining resources and equipment.

✔️ Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of students in the library.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

🔹 A passion for education and student development.

🔹 Strong customer service and communication skills.

🔹 Confidence in using Microsoft Office and digital library systems.

🔹 An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

🔹 The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy learning environment.
