Job Title: Sports Lecturer

Hours: 37 hours a week

Roles and Responsibilities:  

• to the development and delivery of modules and resources in the programme area of Sports and Fitness.
• Contribute to decisions about curriculum, teaching and assessment strategies.
• Well-honed sports-related diagnostic abilities. 
• Contribute to the maintenance of relevant modules, including preparing tutor-marked assignments and examination papers, monitoring of assessment, and membership of Examination and Qualification Boards.
• Contribute more broadly to the activities of the programme and school as required

Skills & experience 

• Higher degree or equivalent professional knowledge in Sports
• Relevant experience of FE teaching and module design that engages and retains students or the proven potential to effectively contribute to this process.
• Qualification for teaching in a Higher Education context
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check (for applicants who have never worked in UK) and no question regarding suitability to work with children
