About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping students unlock their potential, offering them guidance and support both in and out of the classroom. You’ll work closely with educators to deliver personalised learning experiences, ensuring each student is equipped with the skills they need for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in their learning journey, tailoring assistance to individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and interactive lessons
• Provide one-to-one or small group support, especially in subjects like engineering, construction, sports, and public services
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and report on student progress
• Foster independence and confidence in students

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Right to work in the UK
• A background or strong interest in engineering, construction, sports, or public services
• A passion for education and supporting young people
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility and a positive attitude
• Previous experience working in education or with young people is a bonus, but not essential
