As the iTrent systems officer for this leading public sector body, you will be pivotal in delivering efficient and effective HR systems administration and management information services. You will ensure the seamless operation and continuous enhancement of management information and systems within the HR department.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the HR and payroll system (iTrent) and the e-recruitment system (Stonefish).
- Develop and maintain HR systems and associated tools to meet the objectives of the HR department and the organization.
- Document and review existing HR systems and related business processes.
- Prepare and submit staff records and returns, ensuring data quality and timely submission.
- Oversee updates and upgrades to HR systems.
- Contribute to business cases and requests for implementing new or improving existing systems.
- Produce HR metrics and staff-related information reports.
- Provide HR information and create reports for HRBPs, finance teams, and senior management.
- Coordinate monthly establishment reviews with senior colleagues in finance.
- Ensure HR records and information comply with relevant data protection legislation.
- Support HR operational risk and business continuity management.
- Actively participate as the HR representative in working groups and user groups.
- Support other HR activities and deliver appropriate information and systems services.
Requirements:
- Educated to at least A level, with a degree or equivalent qualification preferred in a numerate discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, present, and explain complex data in appropriate formats.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of data protection and freedom of information regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems (iTrent) and reporting tools (Business Objects/Cognos).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to develop effective monitoring systems.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure and constantly evolving environment.
- Advanced knowledge of integrated HR and payroll computerized systems.
- Understanding of project management practices or experience in a formal project team.
- Advanced proficiency in major business software tools, including MS Excel and MS Access.

- Salary: £33,000 to £44,000
- Hybrid- 2 day a week on-site.
