About the Role: As an Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in providing objective and independent assessments of the firm’s operations, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory standards. You will have the opportunity to engage with senior management and contribute to enhancing business processes across the firm’s global offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and report on operational, financial, and compliance audits across 20+ international locations.

• Identify control weaknesses and unmitigated risks, proposing actionable solutions.

• Conduct firm-wide risk assessments and develop the annual audit plan in collaboration with senior leadership.

• Monitor adherence to SRA Accounts Rules and support the firm in maintaining compliance.

• Assist with maintaining the firm’s risk register and internal policies.

• Collaborate with teams across international offices to drive continuous improvement.

What Our Client Is Looking For:

• Minimum of two years of audit experience (operational, financial, or legal compliance) in an accountancy practice or internal audit department.

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or legal qualification with risk/compliance experience.

• Strong communication skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and a confident relationship builder.

Desirable:

• Experience in the legal sector or law practice.

• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%).

• Interest in international secondments and data analytics.
