Interim Finance Officer

Morgan Hunt are working with a Membership Body in Central London who are looking to recruit an Interim Finance Officer. This is a 3 month contract role paying up to £26 p/hour (umbrella). This role will require 2-3 days p/week in the office.

The post holder will provide an accounts payable and accounts receivable function, however will be primarily responsible for the payable functions but will also provide cover as and when required for the accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Officer:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures while processing invoices, expenses, and purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Handle credit control duties and maintain accurate master data, with clear documentation and checks.
• Act as the primary point of contact for supplier and customer queries, recording all relevant information and resolving disputes.
• Meet service standards and KPIs, flagging issues to the AP/AR Supervisor promptly.
• Conduct supplier statement reconciliations, authorise workflow documents, and maintain data accuracy.

Previous Skills and Experience of the Finance Officer:

• AAT minimum qualified.
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable, expense ledgers and purchase order system.
• Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
