Information Services Manager

Job Purpose:

To lead the external data and funding reporting requirements to external bodies (innovative, passionate).

To shape and further enhance the college’s approach to the systematic use of management information services, ensuring that team outputs align to the College’s strategic priorities (MIS) to enhance the customer journey and experience (inclusive, team player).

To create a culture of digital-first, supporting and enabling teams to use information systems to inform, shape and improve (people-centred, inspirational).

Essential Criteria:

• Detailed understanding and experience of complex funding returns and reporting requirements.
• Experience of working within a data and funding remit, working with multiple funding streams.
• Strong understanding of funding rules associated with further and higher education and apprenticeship, ideally in Wales.
• Strong technical knowledge of Tribal EBS.
• Experience and knowledge of working with data reporting tools (ideally PowerBI).
• Strong working knowledge of advanced Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel functionality (e.g data validation, pivots and conditional formatting).
