Independent Living Coordinator

Our client
A leading, North West Housing Association, are looking to recruit a temporary Independent Living Officer for a part time, temporary contract in Greater Manchester.
The role – Independent Living Coordinator
In this role, you will be responsible for;
· Delivering a brilliant service to customers living in our older people’s independent living schemes
· Providing intensive on scheme housing management and support services to customers living in the buildings, ensuring provision of excellent services and active customer participation and involvement.
· Ensuring that the building is compliant with health and safety and that all repairs and planned works are carried out to an appropriate standard.
The candidate
To be successful for the role of Independent Living Officer, we are looking for people who have.
· Excellent communication skills
· An understanding of professional boundaries and safeguarding
· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet deadlines.
· Strong organisational skills.
· Resilience and compassion, as you will work with people with complex needs.
· A flexible attitude towards your working hours (in the event of an emergency).
