Job Title: Inclusive learning Lecturer 

Job Type: Temporary and permanent option

Key responsibilities

• Identify the learning support needs of students to include:

-Student’s learning disability and need for assessment

-concerns over a student’s welfare

-referrals to student services etc. further English and Math’s interventions. barriers to learning i.e. ADHD, ASC, Asperger’s

• To plan and deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment on a range of courses in an appropriate area of the curriculum in line with college standards and meet awarding body expectations.
• To contribute effectively to teamwork in course delivery across programmes as necessary, including group tutorials for those on study programmes.
• To act as a Course Tutor for at least one group of students. To meet students regularly on an individual basis to discuss academic progress and to support students in their choice of progression routes.

Skills & experience

• Passionate about inclusion and be able to deliver a range of subjects which could include Maths and English as well as employability skills, personal and social development and vocational pathways.
• Right to Work & Enhanced Adult/Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the update service

• A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent is essential

• Experience of delivering the subject.

• A degree in the related field is essential
