HR Business Partner

We have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated and experienced HR Business Partner based in Manchester. Salary c£50k. Permanent. Hybrid Working.

Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior management and staff to deliver HR strategies that support our business objectives. You will be responsible for providing expert HR guidance and solutions in areas such as employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organisational change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with department heads to understand their business needs and provide strategic HR support.
  • Manage employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment law.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals and development plans.
  • Support talent acquisition and retention efforts, working closely with the recruitment team.
  • Drive learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Implement HR projects and initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR best practices and policies.
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • CIPD level 7 qualification (or working towards) is preferred.
