Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management & Analysis

    • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow.
    • Consolidate and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Extensive knowledge of SRA accounts rules, with experience managing client monies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident communicator, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexibility for hybrid working, with regular travel to key UK offices.

About the Role:

This role will initially cover the CFO during maternity leave, providing crucial support to a finance function that’s geared for growth. The firm operates a hybrid model with flexible working, along with regular travel to offices in London, Manchester, and Birmingham. With a small, hands-on team, prior experience in a similarly agile environment will be highly advantageous.

We are looking for someone who can ideally start by December 2024; notice periods will be considered for the right candidate. The firm is innovative and tech-focused, with a dynamic group of self-employed legal professionals and ambitious growth plans.

Location: Fully Remote, with travel required to major UK offices every few weeks.

If you’re a proactive finance leader ready to make a significant impact within a dynamic law firm, we’d love to hear from you.
