Job Title: Head of Domestic Abuse Services
Location: Nottingham
Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
Job Type: FTC until March 2025
Annual Salary: £36,112
Job Summary:
- Ensure the effective running of operational Services ensuring that services keep the safety of victims of domestic abuse central to all processes.
- You will support the Deputy CEO to lead an effective and cohesive operational management team overseeing the development and delivery of specialist operational services for survivors of domestic violence and abuse.
- Lead on strategic and service delivery planning in your services, ensuring the development of team and individual plans in line with organisational strategy.
- Be responsible for all aspects of contract compliance, reporting and performance reviews as well as the maintenance of standards and quality marks.
- Provide highest standards of support, that all contract requirements are fully met and that services are shaped by the needs of service users
- Work with Team Leaders to develop excellence in service delivery ensuring best practise in the recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and support of staff and volunteers, in accordance with the organisations policies and procedures.
- You will contribute to the organisations strategic planning, management and leadership to assist the organisation to achieve its vision and mission. You will be responsible for the leadership, management and performance of your teams ensuring they are aligned with organisational strategy and plans.
Person specification:
- Significant management and leadership experience, including in the charity sector, of working with women affected by domestic violence and abuse (DVA).
- Experience of managing crisis situations and complex cases.
- Significant experience of managing, developing and leading services for women and children including managing change.
- Experience of managing multiple projects effectively for contract compliance in a care, support, health or similar environment.
- Experience of effectively chairing complex multi – agency meetings and ensuring clear and balanced presentation of information.
- Experience of tendering and fund raising bids/processes
