Summary

Morgan Hunt are working with a social housing provider, currently seeking a talented Head of Asset Management to join their organisation.

You will be responsible for leading and managing the Asset Management team, ensuring positive transformation for staff and residents. Develop and implement strategies for Asset Management and Net Zero Carbon, ensuring compliance with Decent Homes standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic asset planning, stock investment programmes, and new build developments.
  • Manage and optimise the Asset Management database for effective work programming and financial forecasting.
  • Oversee procurement and delivery of repairs, maintenance, and capital investment projects.
  • Ensure robust contract management, focusing on performance, quality, and value for money.
  • Drive high levels of customer satisfaction through effective Tenant Satisfaction Measures.
  • Develop and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including CDM.
  • Manage ‘Disrepair’ claims and ‘Damp and Mould’ issues to minimise liability.
  • Implement and enhance Asset Management and Repairs systems for data-driven decision making.
  • Provide financial management and control across delegated budgets.
  • Advise on asset management opportunities for rationalisation and investment.

About you

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject or qualified by experience.
  • Proven track record in delivering responsive, void, and investment projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of tendering, contract administration, and construction partnering.
  • Experience in leading service improvement and delivery within Asset Management.
  • Skilled in project and budget management and performance monitoring.
  • Strong leadership and staff management experience.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory framework for registered providers.
  • Ability to translate strategy into deliverable programmes and plans.
  • Effective negotiation and influence skills.
  • Strong motivation and team-building capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management.
