Morgan Hunt is collaborating with a leading FE College in North London, which is currently looking to appoint a Green Keeper Assessor. This role involves developing and delivering golf greenkeeping apprenticeships and related training.

The Green Keeping Assessor will be responsible for:

• Managing the Golf Green Keeper Apprenticeship including employer engagement, product development, and delivery.
• Growing the College’s market share of apprenticeships in green keeping across London and the South East.
• Using the Smart Assessor e-portfolio, ensure all apprentices have the evidence in place for Gateway registration so as to successfully complete their end point assessment by their planned end date.
• To develop formal and informal links with industry and to ensure curriculum development is industry led.

  To be considered for the position, all applicants must have:

• Level 2 qualification in English and Math.
• Teaching qualification or a Level 3 Assessors award/TAQA or desirably relevant qualification.
• Experienced in golf green keeping.
• Experience in coordinating between multiple departments, strong people management, excellent time keeping, working with external employers and desirably management in the work base learning sector, experience with working with 16 – 18-year-old, young adults and adult learners and experience in working in an educational or training environment.
• Applicants must have an understanding of apprenticeships and industry training also having the ability to develop positive working relationships with individual at all levels, general education at Level 2 including literacy, numeracy and IT, effective communication / organisational skills and ability to use initiative, the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
