We are seeking a passionate and experienced Functional Skills Maths Lecturer to join our team at a creative academy in Waltham Forest. This is a part-time position, requiring availability for three days per week, with a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Functional Skills Maths lessons.
• Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements.
• Support students in developing essential numeracy skills for everyday life and employment.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment within a creative setting.
  

  Requirements:

• Proven experience in teaching Functional Skills Maths, ideally within a college or similar educational setting.
• A recognised teaching qualification is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to make maths accessible and engaging.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to pass a DBS check upon request.
