Morgan Hunt is working with a leading Further Education College based in West Midlands. We are recruiting for an experienced Foundation ESOL Lecturer to teach full time delivering ESOL.

Role: Foundation ESOL Lecturer
Location: West Midlands
Job Type: Temporary
Hours: Full time

The successful candidate will be required to:

· To teach Foundation ESOL to learners from Entry Level to Level 3 within the College.

· Compose lesson plans in order to successfully incorporate the full duration of each lesson.

· Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content.

· Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere.

· Instruct students about the structure and content of the ESOL language.

· Teach students the spelling of words, and their meanings.

· Emphasise the rules of composition, grammar and sentence construction.

· Teach students the correct pronunciation of words.

· Teach students to think critically when studying literature and poetry.

· Teach students to analyse and question media reports, advertisements, and news reports.

What we’re looking for:

· Minimum of four GCSEs (A* – C, 9 – 4) or equivalent, including Maths and English.

· Qualified teacher e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLS or CET, or a from commitment to obtain the required teaching qualification/or DELTA.

· Successful experiences of teaching learners of varied ages, backgrounds and abilities.

· Relevant experience within the FE and/or community learning sector.

· Evidence that you are able to apply effective approaches to teaching to more than one level and target audience.

· Experience of working with ethnic minority groups.

· To be able to plan and deliver quality teaching across identified modules

· Right to Work & Enhanced Adult/Child DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
