Are you a Finance Assessment Officer looking for work in Bristol or remotely from home?
Morgan Hunt’s Public Sector and Government client based in Bristol is looking to recruit a Financial Assessment Officer to join a project team responsible for calculating how much the Council will pay towards the cost of an individual’s care by reviewing their financial situation, in accordance with the Care Act 2024.
This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer full time home working.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:
– Review financial statements and documentation.
– Calculate and assess whether an individual has capital of less than £23,250 to determine whether they are entitled to financial support from the Council to pay for the cost of their care.
– Use excellent communication skills to explain the outcome of an assessment.
– Offer Benefits advice to residents and claimants.
