Finance Manager

Morgan Hunt is working with an NHS Trust in Essex who are looking at recruiting a Finance Manager. This is a 3 month contract role paying up to £188 p/day.

You will support to a range of Corporate Services or Operational divisions within the Trust. The focus will be to provide clear strategic financial leadership, delivering robust operational and financial management whilst improving cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial leadership for Corporate Services or Operational divisions, ensuring robust financial management and cost effectiveness.
• Analyse technical issues, advise senior management, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage teams, promote staff development, and liaise with external stakeholders.
• Advise on financial strategy, deliver savings plans, and maintain balanced financial positions.
• Coordinate budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis, implementing financial recovery plans as needed.

  Previous Skills and Experience:

  – Full CCAB qualification or equivalent with extensive experience.

  – Previous experience within an NHS Trust is a must.

  – Proficiency in financial management, IT skills, and spreadsheet modelling.

  – Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
