Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst full time 12 Month FTC with a reputable Housing Association on a hybrid basis. This Finance analyst role is paying up to £46,000 per annum.

The Finance Analyst will be providing support with budgeting and forecasting as well as managing the monthly management accounts whilst working in collaboration with Finance Business Partners. Main Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst:

• Oversee the monthly management accounts process to ensure financial reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide analysis and assistance for budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Work closely with finance teams and other departments to gather and streamline financial data.
• Evaluate financial data to spot trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, aiding internal decision-making.
• Manage and maintain large data sets in Excel and internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

Person Specification of the Finance Analyst:

• Pursuing or holding a CCAB-recognised accounting qualification with ongoing professional development.
• Experienced in management reporting and budgeting within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong communicator with skills to engage diverse audiences and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker, adept at analysing complex data to create solutions and drive data-informed decisions.
• Proven ability to influence operational activities at both tactical and strategic levels across the business.
• Skilled in Excel; knowledge of D365 and Power BI is a plus.
