Job Title: Temporary Exams Invigilator

Are you a responsible, reliable individual looking for temporary work in East London? Join our team as an Exams Invigilator at a renowned local college, assisting with the smooth running of our exams. This is a temporary role with flexible hours, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising students during exams to ensure compliance with exam regulations.
• Setting up exam rooms by placing question papers, answer booklets, and other materials on desks.
• Ensuring candidates enter the room in an orderly manner and manage their seating arrangements.
• Making sure all exam protocols are followed, such as verifying IDs and ensuring no unauthorized materials are present.
• Distributing and collecting exam scripts securely.
• Monitoring students throughout the exam to prevent any malpractice.
• Reporting any irregularities or breaches of conduct to the Exams Officer.
• Assisting with other duties as required by the Exams Officer.

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK (mandatory).
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
• We will need you to be fully compliant with us before you start- I will be helping you with this
• Previous experience in exam invigilation or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility with hours during the busy exam period.
