Job Title: Lecturer in English

Location: North Swindon

Salary: Up to £40 per hour, based on experience

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled English Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to students at North Swindon College. This role requires expertise in English language and literature, ensuring students develop strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons at various levels.
• Assess student progress through written assignments, exams, and coursework.
• Provide feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes.
• Foster critical thinking and literacy skills in students.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery.
• Ensure compliance with educational standards and safeguarding policies.

Requirements:

• Valid work experience in English language and literature teaching.
• A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
