Job Advert: English Lecturer
Location: South London
Working Days: Monday – Wednesday
Hours: 12 hours of teaching, 2 hours of admin, 1 hour meeting (15 hours total per week)

Morgan Hunt is partnering with a leading further education and training college in South London to provide cover for an English Lecturer. This is an immediate and urgent requirement to replace a teacher starting from the first week of April until the end of the academic year.

Key Duties of an English Lecturer

• Deliver high-quality English lessons to further education and training students across the specified days.
• Ensure lessons are engaging, effective and meet the curriculum requirements.
• Complete administrative tasks related to the course (2 hours per week).
• Attend necessary meetings (1 hour per week).

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an English Lecturer within a further education and training setting.
• UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or similar)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (mandatory).
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A passion for teaching and supporting students.
