Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to curriculum planning and development, ensuring that the content meets the needs of the students and aligns with academic standards.

Essential Criteria:

• A degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching English at [A-level, GCSE, or equivalent] level.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students to develop their skills in English.
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience teaching English in further education or secondary school settings.
• Up-to-date knowledge of developments in the English curriculum.
• Ability to teach other subjects related to English, such as Creative Writing or Media Studies.
• Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
