Employability Tutor – Oldham

Morgan Hunt have partnered with an established charity who are seeking to recruit an Employability Tutor in Oldham (Manchester). This is a full time permanent role working on site 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) and Fridays from home. The salary for this role is paying up to £26,000. The primary function of this role is to deliver an Employability programme to post 16 learners.

The Employability Tutor will be responsible for:

  • designing, planning and delivering interactive lessons to learners studying Employability qualifications
  • contributing to the course review process, curriculum development and quality assurance in line with the organisations policies and procedures
  • ensuring learners documentation is correct completed to ensure eligibility for funding
  • attending regular meetings with the quality team

    The Employability Tutor will need to hold:

  • a Level 3 (or above) qualification in any vocational subject
  • previous experience in teaching learners aged between 11-16 or 16-18 on either Traineeship, Employability Skills or Study Programme courses
  • ideally a teaching or assessing qualification although candidates without either will still be considered

    In return the Employability Tutor will receive:

  • An annual salary of up to £27,000
  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
