Electrical/Electronic Instructor/Technician
1.0 FTE (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
£28,267.00 – £30,111.00 per annum
The main purpose of this role is to support the department by working with staff and students in the workshop, ensuring equipment and resources are available to support student learning.
Within this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to, giving demonstrations in the use of equipment, materials and techniques, setting up and dismantling workshop assessments and EPA assessments and ensuring that equipment is in working order and ready for learning sessions also ensuring standards of behaviour within the workshop and adherence to Health and Safety best practice.
You will also be expected to maintain and keep up to date inventories and records of equipment and materials, provide support to students and keep the workshops and ancillary areas clean and in a fit and safe condition for use.
The successful candidate will have a Level 2 or equivalent in Electronic experience and recent relevant experience of the Electrical industry.
