Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and keen to develop your career in academic publishing? An established professional membership body is seeking an Editorial Assistant to join its Publishing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and an interest in journals and digital content to contribute to a mission-driven organisation at the heart of healthcare and academia.
The Role
You’ll play a vital role in supporting the editorial and publishing process across a portfolio of journals and book titles. Working closely with Editors, authors, and internal teams, you’ll coordinate key publishing activities, assist with content preparation, and help maintain high standards in all output. From managing meetings and minute-taking to processing payments and liaising with editorial boards, no two days are the same.
You’ll also support digital publishing efforts-including reviewing transcripts for podcasts and posting content on social media-as well as contribute to conferences and events.
