Domestic Abuse Caseworker

Position: Domestic Abuse Caseworker

Location: East London 1-2 days a week & 3-4 days a week work from home

Contract Type: 2 month temporary contract with possibility to extend

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9-5

Salary: £14-19 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Domestic Abuse Caseworker to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence. You will provide short-term advice, safety planning, advocacy, and onward referrals, ensuring survivors receive the help they need to move forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support, including risk and needs assessments.
• Advocate for clients with external agencies and in court when needed.
• Collaborate with local partners, including Waltham Forest Children’s Centres and the MASH team.
• Lead drop-in sessions and contribute to service delivery improvements.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor service outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting survivors, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with partners. A commitment to equality and diversity is essential.
