Director of Quality and Improvement. Full Time. 37 Hours Per Week. Permanent. Competitive salary

With a long and proud history of serving the local community of Leicester and Leicestershire and following our recent OFSTED Good rating Leicester College has an opening for an exceptional individual to build on our success in driving the College quality and improvement agenda forward taking our teaching, learning and assessment and quality strategy to the next level.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the future of our college’s 16-18, adult, apprenticeship and HE provisions. You will play a significant role in our drive and ambition to provide an inclusive environment for every one of our students. With a high proportion of our students joining us – no matter what their age – with varying attainment levels and aspirations, we work hard to deliver the right offer, curriculum, support and opportunities that enable them to progress towards ambitious futures regardless of starting point.

You will need to be an expert in your area with a strong track-record of delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across a similar-sized organisation. You will lead and develop the College’s quality strategy, creating and supporting a culture of continuous improvement, focused on high expectations and achievement.

As an experienced FE leader, you will support the wider team in ensuring our curriculum and learning offer meets the needs of all our learners, local employers and stakeholders and the wider community. This role will see you create and communicate a supportive yet performance-led vision that will drive forward a college-wide quality improvement strategy and deliver continued positive outcomes.

With an inspiring style of leadership and collaborative ethos, you will be capable of building and keeping strong relationships internally and externally. With a strategic approach rooted in operational knowledge, you will inspire staff working at all levels to continuously improve and succeed.

This position will make you a part of our dynamic and collegiate group of FE leaders, who share in the positive culture of the college. This provides great prospects to not only share expertise but to learn new techniques from peers, whilst driving forward the collective growth and success of the College. Through these close relationships, we will then continue to create improved outcomes for all our students and our local communities.
