Position

We are looking for a Director level candidate in Architecture in Glasgow to lead a team of over 20 staff. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading projects, managing client relationships, and driving the growth and success of their business in Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned architect with strong leadership skills, a passion for design, and who is looking for somewhere they can go where they can make a significant impact within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of over 20 staff.
• Help with the development of the level of design output from the business.
• Assist with the development of the brand, in helping them secure future work.
• Lead and manage architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Provide strategic direction and contribute to the development and implementation of the practice’s business plan.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
• Collaborate with other directors and senior management to drive business development and secure new project opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
• Represent the business at industry events and conferences, enhancing the firm’s profile and reputation.

Experience Required

• We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in a leadership role.
• You must have a passion for design, and desire to improve design quality.
• A proven track record of winning work is essential.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects across various sectors.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience in client management.
• Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team.
