Digital Analyst

In this role you will be responsible for optimising the performance of digital products and digital marketing campaigns through data analysis and insights.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation to understand their needs and provide actionable analytics to guide decision making. A key part of the role will be managing our Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementations, so candidates must have solid hands-on experience with these platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation, management, and optimisation of web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and others.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their priorities and business needs and provide insightful analytics to help guide our digital marketing activity and improve the performance of our products.
  • Work across our suite of analytics tools, set up and manage tracking, manage data, and manage reporting
  • Design and build insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations to provide comprehensive insights into digital product performance and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of web traffic, user behavior, conversions, and other key metrics to identify areas for optimisation and growth opportunities.
  • Architect and execute A/B testing, experiments, and other data-driven strategies to continuously improve conversion rates and user experiences.
  • Effectively communicate technical analytics concepts, insights, and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a data-driven culture across the organisation.
  • Manage relationships with analytics stakeholders, providing training and guidance on leveraging data to drive informed business decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Digital Analyst, with proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementation, configuration, reporting, and analysis.(G4 implementation advantageous)
  • Expert-level analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data sets into actionable recommendations and strategic insights.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities, with a talent for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven passion for using data-driven approaches to drive optimisation, growth, and continuous improvement in digital products and marketing initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail, coupled with a commitment to staying current with the latest analytics trends and best practices.
  • You should have experience of using web analytics tools (we use the Google suite) to set up tracking, collate and visualise data.
